Meet The Team

I founded Moondance Business Consultants in 2011 with a simple idea: that clients deserve consultants who think clearly, work collaboratively and deliver without drama.

Before establishing Moondance, I spent 20 years with Bank of Ireland in roles spanning payments, strategy, marketing, credit and collections, followed by time as an Associate with Accenture, supporting Irish and international clients across multiple industries. I also bring extensive board-level perspective as a Non-Executive Director, with experience across payments, digital transformation and non-profits. I currently sit on the board of the Marie Keating Foundation, and have previously served with Pay.UK, the Irish Payment Services Organisation, Vita, and the Irish Internet Association.

At Moondance, my work focuses on strategic planning, workshop facilitation, business and project healthchecks, marketing propositions, and leadership development.

Alongside client work, I continue to lecture and mentor, having taught at UCD, Trinity College Dublin, DBS, and the Digital Marketing Institute, and supported start-ups through Enterprise Ireland and the Dún Laoghaire LEO.

I hold an MBA from UCD, a Diploma in Corporate Governance, a Degree in Marketing from TUD, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Digital & Social Media Marketing from Harvard.

Ann is our Operations Director, responsible for driving efficiency across the business. Known for her pragmatic approach, she ensures the business runs smoothly and is always ready for growth. ​Ann ensures that people, processes, and performance come together seamlessly.

With a background as a senior HR and Training professional, she brings deep experience from the financial services industry, including leading large HR Shared Services teams. Ann’s expertise spans recruitment, performance management, payroll, and employee benefits, as well as delivering major SAP HR projects. She is also an accomplished trainer, known for making complex topics clear and engaging.

Mark is a highly experienced Business Development Leader

He has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, fulfilling leadership roles in Asset Finance, Wealth Management, Branch Banking, Sales Management and Channel Optimisation. He is a high performing, motivational and resilient Business Development Leader who executes innovative insights and digital strategies that positions organisations at the forefront.

As a senior leader in AIB, he has led out on several transformative strategies, most recently being the evolution of the AIB Asset Finance business, expanding the distribution capability across all channels, building a platform for growth through Digital, Remote and Direct Engagement.

He also built out the Channel Adoption strategy for AIB, influencing a significant change in mindset and behaviour of AIB customers and staff, in adopting to alternative channels including Self-Serve, Phone, Digital and Social Media.

Mark is a certified Leadership, Executive, Career and Performance Improvement coach, building on his vast experience in fulfilling senior leadership and influencing roles throughout his expansive career to date.

His qualifications include a Fellowship of the Life Insurance Association (FLIA), Advanced Management Programme with the Irish Management Institute (IMI), Professional Diploma in Coaching & Mentoring, Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and a Diploma in Digital Marketing.

Brendan is a highly experienced Payments expert and Supplier Relationship Manager. He has extensive experience in the development of customer propositions and commercial management in Ireland, USA & UK including the following:

• Lead card consultant for Dallas, TX based multinational with responsibility for devising strategies and implementation plans to achieve 50%+ reduction in card processing fees

With a 30 year career in financial services, Richard is an experienced senior leader who believes in the importance of balancing the execution of customer and commercial agendas to build sustainable transformative change & business value.

As an Executive in AIB, he has led the transformation & digitisation of AIB’s lending capability & processes by delivering large-scale enterprise programmes of strategic change and digital innovation across the breadth of AIB’s Retail & Commercial banking operations.

Richard is a Director of Anduna Consultants and works with financial clients in providing specialist change/programme management & technology delivery services. Michelle is the founder of Doodle Solutions, a bespoke content strategy and digital marketing consultancy. She works with clients to manage and develop their brands, aligning business strategy with brand objectives. He recently led the team that delivered the migration of KBC’s deposit book to Bank of Ireland which concluded successfully in Feb 2023, while continuing to head up the Transactional Banking products team (Current Accounts and Deposits).

Cora is a highly driven Financial Services Programme Manager with extensive experience leading transformational change, building
relationships and working collaboratively, while delivering the strategic priorities of the business.

She is a commercially focused leader with 18 years’ banking experience in retail, business banking, corporate banking and credit, across transformation, risk and customer facing roles.

Her specialities include agile project delivery, stakeholder management, coaching, change management and building long term relationships.

Sam has 25+ years’ experience in regulated industries and deep expertise in security management, regulatory compliance, governance, risk management, and what it takes to certify to the ISO 27001 standard.

He ensures that clients meet regulatory expectations and navigate the complexities of compliance with confidence.

Shonagh is a PRINCE2 and Scaled Agile certified Senior Project and Programme Manager with  25 years experience  

Shonagh’s experience includes delivering a wide range of business and technology change projects and managing programme 

and portfolio offices within the retail banking, payments, and utilities sectors.  

She has a calm, controlled and  collaborative management style with extensive experience of leading & motivating direct, indirect, and cross-functional teams, equally comfortable managing small teams or fulfilling a lead role within a wider team.  

Shonagh has highly effective communication, negotiating and influencing skills. 

In her spare time she is a Director & Board Member, Bishopstown Credit Union, Cork and a Team Leader at Soberistas.com.  

Mary is a highly experienced business professional with diverse experience including programme/project management, transformation/BPI, business planning, innovation and operations management.

Mary spent more than  20 years in Fexco working predominantly in Financial Services, Technology and Customer Service. She has led diverse teams (up to 100 staff) across professional services, technology, operations, logistics and training. She also drove significant transformation programmes through the introduction of new technologies, establishing a groupwide PMO and leading the Fexco BPI programme. She has successfully taken opportunities from the concept phase through to solution design and full product launch.

In the earlier part of her career, she held  a number of engineering, IT and business analysis roles in companies including Nortel, Apple and Hewlett Packard with a focus on Telecoms and ERP solutions.

 Her qualifications include an Electronic Engineering Degree from UCC and Post Graduate Diplomas in Project Management (UCC) and Leadership (IMI). Mary has also achieved ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt certification

Maeve has 20 years experience in change management and project delivery. Maeve’s early career was in AIB where she was a Senior Change Manager involved in high profile transformations and regulatory change across Mortgages, Credit Operations, Payments and Credit Cards.

As a Senior Manager, she has led very successful teams and delivered large-scale change, achieving ISO accreditation in change delivery.

More recently, Maeve has worked with other companies including British Standards Institute, Volkswagen Financial Services, Apex Funds, and PTSB. She has worked on SAP and ERP, shared services migration and remodelling, and finance transformations.

She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), holds a Bachelor of Financial Services Degree from UCD/Smurfit, is IPASS Payroll accredited, and is a graduate of the College of Marketing & Design.
